FALL RIVER – Chandy Tieng Di Rosa, age 29, passed away surrounded by her loving family and friends, on September 30, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Derek Di Rosa. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of Den (Ket) Tieng and the late Saveth Tieng.
Chandy’s favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved cooking and listening to country music. Even while battling her many illnesses, nothing held her back from having fun. She was very adventurous and loved the outdoors. She loved life and spending time with family and friends. She had contagious smile and brought joy to everyone around her. She was a loving wife and especially a devoted mother to her daughter. She spent the last days of her life spending time with her husband and daughter pumpkin picking. A memory that will always be remembered.
Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter Adrayen-Jey Di Rosa and was also expecting a baby boy; brothers Sam and Sokcheth Tieng; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Reksmey Tieng.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, October 10th, here at 8:30 A.M. followed by a service at Swan Point Cemetery Chapel at 10:30 A.M. Private Interment.
