Isabel G. Pires (63) of Brockton died September 30th in the Boston Medical Center.
She was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Livio Pires and Ernestino Goncalves. Isabel was a devoted communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and loved to cook.
Survivors include her brother Albino P. Gonsalves of Brockton, 7 sisters, Claudina, Marina, Balbina, Maria, Maria Olivia, Josefa and Maria Eugenia Pires-Goncalves all of Brockton, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday October 5th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church 71 E. Main Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thursday October 4th from 5-9 pm.
