Ellena N. "Helen" Clements, of Medford, died Sunday, September 30th. She was 96. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Fosso) Menna.
Helen loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. Helen's family was her pride and joy, they were her world. She enjoyed family vacations to Disney and Las Vegas, where you could find her at any slot machine. Helen loved serving as a crossing guard for the city of Medford. She was well known around the city and established many lifelong friendships over the years.
Ellena was the beloved wife of the late William A. Clements. She was the devoted mother of William Clements and his wife Ellen of Rockland and Carol Clements of Medford. The loving grandmother of Andrea Joaquim and her Husband David, of Rockland and the loving great-grandmother of Erika and Kaylee Joaquim. The dear sister of Andrew Menna of Rockport, and the late Mary Carsto, Betty Modugno, Salvatore and Joseph Menna.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, October 5th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
