Belcher, Carolee (Porch) a resident of Watertown MA, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2018. Carolee was born in Cambridge, MA on February 27, 1931 to Kathleen and Walter Porch, where she attended Cambridge High and Latin School and raised her family. She spent her summers on Martha’s Vineyard, where she and her family enjoyed their time together in Edgartown and Chilmark. Carolee worked for the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston for many years and was well known in Boston’s North End.
Carolee was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Belcher and her siblings, Kathleen and Walter. She is survived by her three children and their spouses David W. Belcher and his wife Meg, Cynthia Ranyak and her husband Paul, and Jeannette Belcher-Schepis and her husband John; and her sisters, Jean Bastos, Earla Porch, and Gail Stone. She loved and appreciated her four grandchildren: Julian, James, Emily and Paige; and cherished many nieces and nephews. Carolee was a kind and generous person with a very big heart – she will be missed by all. Services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery with arrangements by Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, Watertown.
