POLYCHRONES Mary (Kenis) of Mashpee formerly of Reading and Cambridge passed away on September 22, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Polychrones. Devoted mother of Dianne Foundas and her husband Nick of Needham, John Polychrones and his late wife Nancy of Chelmsford, and Cynthia Dovens and her husband Matthew of VA. Loving yia yia of Jamie Foundas and his wife Lauren, Nicholas Foundas Jr. and his wife Nicolette, Christopher Foundas and his wife Taylor, Nicole and John Polychrones, Andrea Vasconi and her husband Mike, Adam Dovens and his wife Jess, and Elena Dovens. Great grandmother of Briley, Nicholas, Olivia, James Jr., Ryan, Nicholas III., Charlotte, and Lila. Sister of the late Nick Kenis and his surviving wife Betty. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Retired administrative assistant of the Reading Board of Health and Harvard School of Health. 48 year member of the Priscilla Chapter #52, Order of the Eastern Star. Member of the Daughters of Penelope, Hyannis and Braintree. Member of Philoptochos Society, Hyannis. At 90 years of age Mary volunteered in a first grade class room for five years at the Cunningham School, Milton.
