Maryann T. (Belliveau) Saunders, 59 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Maryann is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mark, and two daughters, Victoria, 33 and Kathryn, 29, as well as her siblings John Belliveau and his wife Noella of Worcester, Linda Curran and her husband Wayne of Worcester, and Mark Belliveau and his wife Michelle of Brimfield. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary I. (Fraioli) Belliveau.
As a Worcester native, Maryann found great pride in her home city, and was a strong supporter of Worcester's vibrancy and culture. Over the years Maryann held numerous administrative and creative positions within Worcester County, as well as numerous volunteer positions.
In addition to being a proud Worcester native, Maryann lived and worked in both New York City and New Jersey for eight years, including work at Smith Barney Investments, during which time she met her husband Mark and had their daughter Victoria.
Maryann's life was dedicated to her family and found great fulfillment in taking on the role of full-time caregiver for her daughter Victoria. Maryann was a fierce advocate for her family and friends and found pleasure in the service of others.
Services for Maryann are private for immediate family. However, the family will be hosting a Memorial Mass on Saturday October 20th at 4:00 PM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
