FALL RIVER – James F. Noverca Sr., age 87, passed away at the Fall River Health Care Center on August 23, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Shirley (Medeiros) Noverca. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Jose and Diolinda (Souza) Noverca. James was proprietor for Noverca SawMill, which was a family business for over 90 years.
James is survived by his children David Noverca, James F. Noverca Jr., Linda Noverca and Erik Noverca, all of Fall River; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by many siblings.
