FALL RIVER – Manuel Silva, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 19, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Mary Connie (Viveiros) Silva and the son of the late Jacinto & Maria (Oliveira) Da Silva. Manuel was the proud owner of MAP Printing for over 20 years. He worked for Swank Inc. for over 25 years. He was a big sports fan and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports.
Along with his wife he is survived by his children Kimberly DeForge, Brian Silva and Melissa Silva; siblings the late John Da Silva, Jesse Silva, Joseph Silva, Mary Lincourt, Carol Tavares and Eduarda Rainville; grandchildren Brendon, Alexa, Savannah, Noah, Mason, Logan and Cole as well as many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael’s Church at 9:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
