STANDISH- Ruby E. Roberts, age 69, passed away on Aug. 18, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Portland.
She was born in Portland on June 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Wendell and Edith (Douglas) Wiggin.
She will always be remembered for her love of family, gardening, birds, horses, camping and traveling.
Ruby is survived by her beloved husband- Richard Roberts; children- Dawn Roberts and her fiancé Ed Clifford of Raymond, NH, David Roberts and his wife Julie of Standish and Denise Simonsen and her husband John of TN; four step children- Richard Jr., Laurie, Brice, and Cyndie; a sister- Marjorie Tripp of North Baldwin; sixteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service officiated by Pastor Trent Boyd. A reception to celebrate Ruby’s life will be held on Thursday Aug. 23 at 4 PM at the West Buxton Baptist Church, 62 Parker Farm Road, Buxton.
