Manchester– Paul J. Lacerte, 81, died August 16, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on October 7, 1936 the son of Wilfrid and Patricia (Boivin) Lacerte.
Prior to his retirement he worked for Micro Communications, Granite State Manufacturing and Cush Craft.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
He was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, Council 13026 of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. He was a 60 year member of the Knights of Columbus.
Family members include his wife, Shirley (Phaneuf) Lacerte of Manchester, children; Anne Marie Chesno and her husband, Lewis of Brentwood, Marc Lacerte of Weare, Alan Lacerte and his wife, Kimberly of Manchester, Lisa Cross and her husband Fred, Jill Cross and her husband, David, all of Dunbarton, Jami Snyder and her husband Joshua of Almond, NY., thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, Marcel Lacerte and his wife, Claire of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4 to 7pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield.
Committal prayers will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech St.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund, 9 Saint Francis Way, Litchfield NH 03052.
