David A. Kennedy. 67, of Rochdale, died Tuesday, August 14th in Tufts Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joanne M. (Dorais) Kennedy; his son, Daniel J. Kennedy and his wife, Darcy of Moira, NY; four daughters, Jeannine Keefe and her husband, Christopher of Oxford, Jody DeLuca and her husband, Michael of Worcester, Tracey Swenson and her husband, Paul of Webster and Lori Ziobrowski of Charlton; two brothers, Thomas Kennedy and his wife, Ann of Auburn and John Kennedy and his wife, Anne of Worcester; three sisters, Ann Zambarano and her husband, Thomas and Jane Toto and her husband John all of Mechanicsburg, PA and Mary Morrison and her husband, Chester of Worcester, nine grandchildren, Nathan, Brennen, Kamrin, Teagan, Rylie, Finn, Jonathan, Justin and Anthony and many nephews and nieces. His brother, James Kennedy predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Joseph A. and Ann (Johnston) Kennedy. David was employed by Stop & Shop as a store manager. He was a member of the Auburn Lodge of Elks. Mr. Kennedy was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. His greatest joy was time with his family especially his grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
His funeral is Monday, August 20th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with his funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, August 19th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
