Sheila Theresa Flaherty (Kennedy) of Easton passed away August 13th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston on September 13, 1940, she graduated from Archbishop Cushing Central High School (ACCH), Class of 1958. She lived in Dorchester, Brockton, and Norwood before moving to South Easton. Sheila was a member and renowned Colorguard Instructor of the National "DREAM" Champions, The ST. KEVIN EMERALD KNIGHTS Drum and Bugle Corps and a Member of the Massachusetts Drum Corps Hall of Fame. She was a devoted wife and homemaker and an avid Red Sox fan. Beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Kennedy. Beloved wife of Paul J. Flaherty Sr. Loving mother of Paul J. Flaherty Jr. and his wife Eileen, and Lee Anne Hustins and her husband Richard, all of Easton. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Thomas Hustins, Katherine Flaherty, Emily Flaherty, Sean Flaherty and Deanna Flaherty. Sister of Andrew Kennedy of Dedham, Rita Kennedy of Florida and the late Mary Smith, Ann Finnerty, Louise Galas, Virginia Kennedy, Leo Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Edward Kennedy. Visiting hours in the Dockray and Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. Canton, on Friday from 4-8PM. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St. So. Easton, on Saturday at 9AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
