Judith Ann (DeNufrio) Scannell of Medford died on Friday, August 10, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Louise (Roucco) DeNufrio.
Judy was the beloved wife of Joseph Scannell and the devoted mother of Vincent J. Scannell and wife Amanda. Jacob and Ryan Scannell, all of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Everly Scannell, and the dear sister of Daniel DeNufrio and wife Patricia of Wilmington, Vincent DeNufrio and wife Mary of Hudson, New Hampshire. Judy was the cherished daughter-in-law of Natalie and the late Dan Scannell of Medford, sister-in-law of Susan and Joseph DeAngelis of Tewksbury, Daniel and Brenda Scannell of Plaineville, Natalie and Christopher Nigro of North Reading, and the loving aunt of Danielle and Michael DeNufrio of Medford, Joseph DeAngelis of Tewksbury, Daniel and Thomas Scannell of Plaineville, and Donnie and Francesca Nigro of North Reading.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, August 20 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting hours Sunday, August 19, from 1 through 5 PM.
