GUNTHER, Alma Louise (Munsell) of Natick, formerly of Mission Hill and West Roxbury, died peacefully on August 12th at the age of 85 after a courageous battle against lung cancer. Beloved wife of the late Carl A. Gunther. Loving mother of Kent Gunther of Roslindale and Gail Sullivan and her husband James of West Roxbury. Adored sister of Elinor Ruprecht and her husband Paul, and the late Sheila Stockbridge, Madolin Dooley, and Curtis Munsell. Dear sister-in-law of Eileen Munsell. Devoted Nana of Allison Gunther, Kent Gunther and his wife Lauren, Katie Sullivan Rissmiller and her husband Josh, Caroline Sullivan Rusconi and her husband Nicholas, Lauren Gunther, and Liam Gunther. Cherished great-grandmother of Owen, Henry and Harrison Gunther; and Benjamin Rissmiller. Loving “Auntie” to many nieces and nephews. Longtime employee of the federal government.
