Hilda Hernandez
May 25, 1937 – August 7, 2018
Our beloved mother, Hilda Magdalena ‘Nena’ Hernandez, of Londonderry, NH, passed from this life on August 7, 2018. Nena loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a world traveler and lived in many beautiful locations. She had a zest for making everything around her beautiful. She loved gardening, painting, reading cookbooks, and collecting beautiful items from her travels. She was a member of not one but two Red Hat groups … aka “Princess Hunny Bunny”. Hilda and her loving husband Virgil ‘El Bato’ shared many traveling adventures during their 60 years of marriage. Virgil always remained the love of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and Angel Rodriguez, and her step-sister Angela Vasquez.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Virgil; son Jose V. Hernandez (Lisa); daughters Cynthia Fogelman (Michael), and Sandra Strickland (Stan); grandchildren, Stanley, John, Angel, and Bradley Strickland; and Isabella, Gabrielle, and Joey Hernandez.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
