TYRRELL, Mary A. (Lavin) Of St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham formerly of Wellesley, suddenly August 8, 2018, age 93. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Tyrrell for 50 years. Loving mother of Ann Abely of Wellesley, Joseph P. Tyrrell and his wife Kate of Sudbury, James R. Tyrrell and his wife Laura of Sudbury, Mary T. Coughlin and her husband Chris of Wellesley, and the late Patricia M. Tyrrell. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late William and Joseph Lavin, and Margaret Melia.
Mary graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Church in Wellesley, a member of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, and a longtime member of the Weston Golf Club.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Monday, Aug. 13 at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Sunday, Aug. 12 from 4-7pm. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
