Ann Stephens Williford, 82, of Ashburn passed away peacefully August 8, 2018 at her residence.
Ann was born in Worth County, Georgia on March 19, 1936 to the late Earnest Alton, Sr. and Annie Sue Mackey Stephens. She worked for Citizens Bank for many years. She was a teller and worked her way to president which is the title she held when she left the banking industry. She went on to spend twenty years working in positions at Sconyers and Arabi Ginning Companies. Ann loved her family, church and community. She was also a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Suanne (William) Loper of Ashburn; sons, Jack (Trini) Williford of Commerce, Mark (Ramona) Williford of Sycamore and Doug (Joel Acevedo) Williford of New York, New York; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Jack "Shorty" Williford, Sr. and her siblings Virginia Stephens Wilson and Earnest Alton Stephens, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 10, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church in Sycamore with interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6- 8 PM at the funeral home.
