Billie Kay Floyd, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died August 5, 2018, at Irwin County Hospital, in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Earlie Holt and the Rev. Ricky Kellum officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 PM until 8 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Floyd was born April 27, 1954, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late John Joseph & the late Mildred Virginia Chaney Blackstock. She lived in the community all of her life and was a homemaker. She enjoyed attending yard sales with her sister and going to Brother Charlie’s. She was a very loved person and will be missed by many. Mrs. Floyd attended Christian Tabernacle in Fitzgerald.
She is survived by her sons: Billy Sandford & Jennifer and Eddie Blackstock & Kim, all of Fitzgerald; two daughters: Wendy Floyd and Cheyanne Bryant, both of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Jase Mullens, Kayce Mullens, Brooke Sandford, Briar Sandford, Brittany Elkins, Zachary Hull, K.J. Blackstock and Morgan Blackstock; one great-grandson and a sister, Carolyn Blackstock Bedingfield & Mark of Fitzgerald. Several nieces and nephews also survive as well as a special caregiver, Jennifer Clements. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J. C. Blackstock and three sisters: Dorothy Dorrity, Betty Pitts and Barbara Brogdon.
