Viola M. (Wilson) Webb, 91, of Westport, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of Fred T. Webb, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, she was daughter of the late Frederick G. and Eunice I. (Dockham) Wilson. Prior to retirement, she was a clerk for the United States Post Office in Westport. Mrs. Webb was a member of the Westport United Congregational Church the Merry Makers of the W.U.C.C., the Cortez Allen Chapter 161, O.E.S., Westport, the Westport and Freetown Historical Societies and the Red Hat Society.
Including her husband, survivors include a son: Fred T. Webb, III and his wife Nancy of Rehoboth; a daughter: Susanne E. Webb of Westport; 3 grandchildren: Joanne E. Costa, Gregory J. Costa and Karson Furtado; 2 great grandchildren: Corey M. Costa and Macenna Furtado; and several nephews.
She was sister of the late Virginia I. Corriveau.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10 AM.
Calling hours Monday from 4 - 7 PM with an Eastern Star service at 6:30 PM.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
