Loretta (Fortin) Kallio, a lifelong resident of Lawrence died peacefully at the Berkeley Nursing Home on August 1, 2018. Loretta was born to the late Adelard and Ida Fortin on November 26, 1934. She was 83 years old.
Loretta enjoyed reading, bowling and traveling. Her favorite destination was Cape Cod. We would like to thank the Berkeley Nursing Staff and Compassus Hospice for their kindness and caring.
Loretta is survived by her loving daughter Karen and her husband Russell Aubrey of Lawrence, several cousins and many friends. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 6 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, Andover. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to the The Berkeley Retirement Home & Nursing Center 150 Berkeley Street, Lawrence, MA 01841 or the MSPCA.org
