Jon T. Casper, age 54, of Norton, formerly of Highland, New York passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at home.
Born in Poughkeepsie, New York on August 20, 1963, he was a loving son of Joan M. (Filkins) Casper of Norton and the late Robert D. Casper.
Jon grew up in Highland, New York and was a1981 graduate of Highland High School. Shortly afterwards he proudly served his country for six years as a member of the United States Navy.
A resident of Norton for the past twenty-four years, he was a member of the Trinitarian Congregation Church in Norton. Jon loved spending time with his adoring family and was the proudest father in the world.
Jon had an extreme love for the great outdoors and nature. His hobbies included fresh water fishing and playing cards.
In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his devoted sons Tyler R. Casper of Washington, DC and Sean L. Casper of Hampstead, North Carolina. He was the dear brother of Avery L. Casper-Filbin and her husband Thomas Filbin of Westwood, and is also survived by his aunt, as well as many cousins and friends.
Services and burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
