FALL RIVER… Joseph A. “Arthur” Cote, 72, of Fall River passed away, July 26, 2018.
He was born in Fall River, a son of the late Joseph A., Sr. and Rose (Thomas) Cote and had been a lifelong resident of this city. He was the longtime companion of Sharon (Kalil) Vieira of Fall River.
Along with his companion, survivors include 2 sons: Ernie Cote of RI and Richard Cote of Fall River; 4 daughters: Patty Jo Machado and Linda “Midgy” Froughton both of New Bedford, Buffy Medeiros of Westport, and Krystal Cote of Plymouth; a sister: Sandra C. Souza of Melbourne, FL; 16 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Eric Cote and brother of the late Damase Cote.
