Obituary

Douglas Michael “Mike” Rasicot, 65, of Wrentham passed on to be with our Lord and treasured family members on July 25. He was the loving, devoted husband of Susan E. (Bent) Rasicot for the past 40 years.

Born in Wurzburg, Germany, February 27,1953, the son of Lyle G. Rasicot of North Attleboro and the late Mary C. (Sullivan) Rasicot.

Mike grew up all over the country before his family settled and made their home in Franklin. In recent years he split his time between Wrentham and Laconia, New Hampshire.

He was a graduate of Providence College and received his Master’s Degree from Framingham State University.

He began his career at General Motors and most recently he worked for the Bose Corporation as HR Director.

Mike loved anything fast, especially cars and boats. He was happiest with his family on his boat on Lake Winnipesaukee with his first mate Nathan.

In addition to his wife and father he is survived by his two daughters, the pride and joy of his life, Andrea Spillane and her husband Scott of Attleboro and Bridget Rymanowski and her husband Matt of Medway.

Michael is also survived by his brothers Patrick Rasicot and his wife Patti of Cumberland, R.I. and Brian Rasicot of North Attleboro.

He was the brother of the late Frank and James Rasicot.

He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Kathryn and Marcia Rasicot.

Michael was blessed with three amazing grandchildren, Krysia Alexis Spillane, Nathan Michael Rymanowski and Colton Patrick Rymanowski.

Michael also leaves behind nieces and nephews who added much joy and pleasure to his life.
Drew Rasicot and his wife Kimberly and their daughter Avery Ann, Colin Rasicot and his wife Mallika, Ashley Smith and her husband Garrett, Lyndsey, Thomas and Julie Rasicot.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 3 in St. Mary’s Church, Wrentham at 9:00 a.m.

Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be on Thursday,August 2, from 4-7 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.gineyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
