Robert A. Boudreau, age 71, passed away on July 16, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on April 11, 1947 in Amesbury, MA to the late Alphee and Bernice (Lavalley) Boudreau. Robert was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam as an Interrogator for the Intelligence Dept. He worked for the Springfield Water Dept. as a Water Controller for many years before retiring. He leaves his loving wife of 49 years Barbara (Bowen) Boudreau of Springfield; two daughters Michelle Pawlowski and her husband Jeffrey of New York and Jacqueline Boudreau Kinsey and her husband Andrew of Ashfield; one brother Phillip Boudreau and his wife Sharon of Ludlow; two sisters Barbara Welch and her husband William of Springfield and Beverly Iuliano and her husband Conrad of East Longmeadow and five grandchildren Hayley Rose, Nathaniel Colby and Hannah Brielle Pawlowski and Gracie and Rosalie Kinsey. He was predeceased by his beautiful daughter Andrea Grace who passed away in 1996 and also by a brother, Paul, who passed away in 1959. He loved spending time on The Cape and he loved the outdoors, reading, writing, and sitting in the sun with his beloved dog, Dylan, but most of all he loved his family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. Burial will follow with military honors at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
