Teddy Wawrzyniak, age 62, passed away on July 11, 2018 at home. He was born on Jan.6, 1956 in Hammond, IN, a son of the late Steve and Marianna Wawrzyniak. Teddy worked at Smith and Wesson for many years, briefly as a per diem Nurse, then retired as a Machine Operator at Covidien. He loved hunting, trips to Cape Cod and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He leaves his 2 sons, Jason Wawrzyniak and his wife Gisele of Chicopee and Steve Wawrzyniak and Courtney Goodrum of Orange; 2 grandchildren, Dorian and Asher Wawrzyniak and 1 brother-in-law William “Bill” Murray of West Springfield. He is predeceased by his sister Barbara Murray. Calling hours will be held at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
