Retired Randolph Deputy Fire Chief Herbert A. Everett, age 87, of Mansfield passed away at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, July 8, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan M. (Thorsell) Everett who died in 2010.
Born in Medford, MA on October 29, 1930, he was a son of the late Oliver S. and Elsie P. (Davenport) Everett.
He is survived by his children Dennis Everett of Mansfield, Karol Miller of Buzzards Bay and Steven Everett of Mansfield. He was the brother of the late Priscilla Clifton, Barbara Cameron and Phyllis Brenner. He was the brother-in-law of Robert Thorsell and his wife Susan of Foxboro. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and was the grandfather of the late Stephanie Everett.
Private services were held at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
