Mary O. ( Ricciardi) Sherman, 96,of Hanson formerly of West Quincy passed away peacefully July 4th at the All American Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late Clifford N. Sherman, daughter of the late Constantino and Joanna (Cervalo) Ricciardi.
Mary was a graduate of Quincy High School and she worked for Howard Johnson’s for many years as a Administrative Secretary. She also was a member and Sunday school teacher for many years at the Wollaston Baptist Church.
Mary enjoyed writing poetry and cherished spending time with her family, she will be deeply missed by all.
Mary is survived by her son Charles M. Sherman and his wife Ellen-Rose of Halifax, her granddaughter Danielle and great granddaughters Sophia, Harper and Skylar of East Bridgewater, sister of Yolander “Vi” Savasta of RI, Victor Ricciardi of Halifax; also many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Paul, Russell, Charles, Joseph, Peter, Artilio, Carmella Ricciardi and Natalie Warner.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday July 9th at 6:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visiting hours will be held 2 hours prior to her service from 4:00-6:00PM. Burial will be private.
