Lanis (Harold) Slaughter, 82, of Louisville, formerly of Tompkinsville, passed away Wednesday, July 4th, 2018. He was born on April 24, 1936 to the late Annie and Herbert Slaughter. He was retired from American Synthetic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Slaughter; his siblings; and one son in law.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jami Russell (J.D.), and Cindy Hickey; grandchildren, Justin Hickey, Tori Russell, and Savanna Russell; one great-grandchild, Joseph Hickey.
Funeral services will be at 12 PM on Monday, July 9th, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216.
Visitation will be from 3 - 8 PM on Sunday at Owen Funeral Home.
