Robert N. Pepin, 94, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018 at his home. He was born in Berlin on December 29, 1923 the son of Didier and Maria (Fournier) Pepin and was a lifelong resident. He attended school in Berlin and had served with the US Marine Corps. Robert had been employed as an oiler at the local mill, retiring from James River Corporation after 40 years of service. He retired at 58 to care for his wife and he took excellent care of her. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, gardening and hunting in his younger years. Robert and Lucille loved their camp at Cedar Pond. He was a member of the American Legion.
Family includes his son Paul Pepin and his wife Cecile of Gorham, NH; grandchildren Brian Pepin and companion Stacie Lacasse of Berlin, NH and Michelle Berwick and husband Shanon of Gorham, NH; great grandchildren Kyle Berwick of Gorham, NH and Anastasia Pepin of Gorham, NH; his sister Priscilla Poirier of Berlin, NH and sister-in-law Alice Renaud of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Lucille (Lavoie) Pepin; children Robert Pepin and Patricia Pepin; grandchildren Kevin Pepin and Keith Pepin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 12, 2018 at 10 AM and St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, prior to the service.
