Jose T. Pacheco, age 76, passed away on Saturday June 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Ferreira) Pacheco of 48 years. Born in Ajuda de Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Jose T. and Laurina (Carvalho) Pacheco. Jose was a firefighter for Portugal’s Air Force, and a precious metal melter for Handy and Harmon Refinery. He was a communicant of St. John of God Parish, enjoyed exercising and gardening, an avid Patriots and Benfica fan, but ultimately enjoyed being with his wife and sons.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons; Jeff Pacheco (wife Lori), and Kenny Pacheco (companion Mark DaSilva), sister; Maria Rodrigues (husband Agostinho), and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Friday from 6-8 P.M.
