Donald Steven "Steve" Partin, 60, of Tifton died Sunday, July 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Mr. Partin will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Tony Maye, Staten Maye, David Eaton, Dewayne Haman, Ray Pearman, and Tyler Ray will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 8, 1957 in Tift County, Mr. Partin was the son of the late Donald Partin and Faye Maye Bryan. He was employed at Elixir Extrusions in Douglas, where he served as a foreman. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Chula.
Mr. Partin devoted his life to helping people; he selflessly placed the interests of others above his own. He had an appreciation for music and enjoyed experiencing nature, especially fishing. Mr. Partin was a man who loved God, his family, and his friends. He will be dearly missed.
Mr. Partin is survived by his wife, Teresa; his three children, Bill, Ken (Chloe), and Stephanie; and his two brothers, Scott (Gail) and Stan (Kathryn). He will also be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Bethany, and Elijah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
