Ethel A. (Fagone) Damico of Peabody died on Thursday, June 28, at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Born in Scarborough, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Aggripino and Josephine (Soldano) Fagone.
Ethel was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence N. Damico, and the devoted mother of Sandra Fantasia and her husband Andrew of Newburyport, Janice Damico and her husband Christopher Massey of Frankfurt, Germany, and Josephine White of Watertown and her late husband Paul. She was the loving grandmother of Paul and Michael Scola, Jessica Heckner, Alex Massey, Maria and Daniel White, and the loving great grandmother of Sophia, Isabella, Sam, Thomas, Julianna, Gianluca, Claudia and Nina. Ethel was the dear sister of the late Mary Ciampa, Yano Fagone, Josephine Siderski, Helen Costa, Frank Fagone, Rose Giadone, Joseph and John Fagone, and Pauline Mercurio, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Sunday, July 1 at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 1 through 4 PM. Interment will be private.
