Denise M. Peters, 65, died on June 27 at Bay Path Nursing Center in Duxbury after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
A longtime resident of Abington, she attended Abington schools, Massasoit Community College and Salem State College.
She spent many years working in Boston as a Legal Secretary. As an avid traveler and part time travel agent she cruised and traveled to many destinations and enjoyed planning trips for others.
She also enjoyed shopping, crafts, riding her motorcycle and spending time friends and family.
She leaves behind her sister and her husband, Dorothy and Harris Damon, her brother, Albert Peters and brother and his wife, Charles and Caren Corman along with 2 nieces, a nephew and many cousins. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Doris and Albert Peters and her husband, John DelSelva
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services on Saturday June 30th at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service from 11:00-12:00PM. Burial will be at a later date.
