Moore, George N. of Holliston, formerly of Wellesley. June 23, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Mary M. (Gray) Moore. Devoted father of Susan Moore of Shrewsbury, Nancy Falzon of Milford, Joan Moore of Clairton PA, Libby Chase of Yulee FL, Edward Moore of Milford, Ellen Moore of Holliston, David Moore of San Mateo CA and the late John Moore. Brother of Robert Moore of Boston. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
George was a graduate of Boston University and received his Masters in Education from Harvard University in 1954. He worked as a educator in the Wellesley Public Schools. One of the founders of Curriculum Associates in Billerica. WWII Navy Veteran.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt 16) Wellesley, Tuesday, June 26, from 5-8PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
