Robert (Bob) M. Brown, 89 went to heaven to be with his Lord on June 21, 2018.
Mr. Brown was a proud Navy career veteran of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam war. He was a Member of the Masonic Robinson-Plumb Lodge 266 F. & A.M. and a member of the Louisville Kosair Shrine Temple.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years June Brown and his wife of 5 years, LaVerne Brown, his brother Lowell Brown and his sister Louise Cummings, his grandsons Shayne Quinkert and Drew Yarbrough.
Mr. Brown is survived by his beloved daughters Delaine Yarbrough and Lin Quinkert Ashcraft (Dene), granddaughters Shanon Yarbrough , Tia Quinkert and Tara Quinkert Denzinger, 5 great-grandchildren – Lacie Cook, Whitney Messer, Victor Beam, Dalton Quinkert and Avery Denzinger. His brothers Bill and Jim Wilder and his sister Frieda Baker.
There will be a graveside service Monday 10:00 A.M., in the Veteran section at Louisville Memorial Gardens, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. are handling arrangements.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
