Whidby, Dalyn Cheri', 32, passed away at her home on Friday, June 15, 2018.
Dalyn is survived by her loving husband, Jacob; her daughter, Brynlee; her parents, Michael and Gwan Cox and Michael and Tracy Harrison; father and mother-in-law, George and Judy Whidby; her brothers, Ian, Evan, and McCallister Cox and Matthew and Luke Harrison; and her sisters, Danielle (Jon) Scarborough and Kayla (Elliot) Reece.
After graduating from Assumption High School in 2004 Dalyn went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Louisville in 2009.
At the time of her death, Dalyn was employed as a pre-school teacher at St. Andrew Academy and a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Dalyn was a ray of sunshine wherever she went. She never let any difficult circumstance get her down. She loved and excelled at being a mother. She enjoyed movies, music, family and friends, and was a lover of all things Disney.
Of all that Dalyn achieved in her life, she will be remembered most for being a loving wife and devoted mother.
Her funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 21 at Southeast Christian Church (SOUTHWEST CAMPUS), 8301 St Andrews Church Rd. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at church.
In lieu of flowers her family asks that friends and family please consider contributions to an education fund for Brynlee to attend Assumption High School in honor of Dalyn.
