Sean Kipp Rabbitt, 75 of Franklin, MA formerly of North Smithfield, RI passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Susan L. (Deehr) Rabbitt.
Born on August 19, 1942 in Sandusky, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Donna (Holzaepfel) Rabbitt. Kipp grew up in Sandusky and graduated from Sandusky High School. After high school he attended The University of Cincinnati, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Kipp worked as an engineer for the Amperex division of Philips for many years.
After he retired, Kipp enjoyed spending his time sailing and being with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Sean M. Rabbitt and his husband Andrew of Las Vegas, his daughters, Amanda S. Rabbitt and her husband Brian Kourtz of Franklin, and Alicia A. Rabbitt of Franklin; his grandchildren Grace and Samuel.
He is also survived by his brothers, Michael Rabbitt and Jed Rabbitt.
At the request of his family, services will be private. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
