Alice Galante of Medford died on Sunday, June 17, at the Woburn Nursing Center. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Sinibaldi and Filomena (Shenna) Galante. Alice was the dear sister of the late Thomas L., Luigi T. and John J. Galante, and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Alice was an active member of St. Francis parish and a volunteer with the food pantry. She enjoyed music, tea with family and friends, attending prayer group meetings, and wished to be remembered as "being kind."
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford on Friday, June 22 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted and interment will be private.
