Scott A. McLain, age 57, passed away on June 12, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Bangor, ME. Scott was a son of Marguerite (Berry) McLain and the late William McLain of Hampden. He is survived by the love of his life, Loriann (Gulluni) McLain of Hampden; 3 sons, Kenneth McLain of Agawam, Joshua McLain of Springfield and Alex Alarez of Agawam; 1 daughter April Austin and her husband Jamie of Springfield; 1 brother Michael McLain and his wife Lucy of Chicopee; 1 sister Colleen Speare of Hampden and 3 beloved grandchildren, Riana, Caydn and Logan. He is predeceased by his brother Charles McLain and his sister Dayna Gryzwoc. Scott worked as a carpenter for many years, finishing his career at Pilgrim Interiors; however, his true passion in life was playing the drums. Scott rocked in many bands over the years, most recently One Shot. Calling Hours will be held on Sat., June 16, 2018 at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to start at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
