Ralph Caruso, age 55, of Somerville, formerly of Boston's North End, died Tuesday, June 12th. Born and raised in Italy, he is the son of the late Mario and Giuseppina (Lombardo) Caruso.
Ralph enjoyed life in all aspects. He loved traveling; California was his favorite destination, but enjoyed Las Vegas as well as spending time in Italy with his brother in-law Freddy. If you were to look for Ralph you would find him at the Winthrop Beach with a cup of coffee in his hand.
Ralph was a pro at all trivia games, especially Jeopardy, not to mention he always had the correct answers. Ralph's pride and joy were his nieces and nephews. An avid animal lover, Bailey was his trusted sidekick.
Ralph was the cherished son of the late Mario and Giuseppina (Lombardo) Caruso. He was the dear brother of Angela Pagliuca and her husband Freddy and Nina Coughlin and her husband Joseph both of Malden. Loving uncle of Gaetano, Stephen,Teresa, Vienna and Josephine. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, June 18th at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, at 9:45 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
