Gladys Ortiz Cordova (79) of Mansfield died June 14th at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Abdon Ortiz and Gauina Cordova. Gladys worked in a fish factory in her home country. She was a very religious person, also was known to be funny. Gladys loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends.
Gladys is survived by 5 sons, Jesus, Luis and Edgardo Colon all of Brockton, Alexis Ortiz of Holbrook and Benjamin Ortiz of Mansfield, a daughter Carmen Colon of New York, 2 brothers Ezquiel and Jesus Ortiz, 5 sisters, Olga, Silvia, Ana, Rosa and Carmen Ortiz, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Thursday June 21st from 3-9 pm. Cremation to follow.
