Jonathan “Jake” Moran, 27, of Franklin passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018.
Born on March 4, 1991 in Natick, MA he was the beloved son of Michael and Nancy (Natoli) Moran of Franklin.
Jake was a lifelong resident of Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in the class of 2009. He then went on to attend Sterling College, Framingham State University, Dean College, and Bristol Community College.
Jake worked in various outdoor professions during his life. He was currently working in tree service and was hoping to become an Arborist.
Jake loved the outdoors. When he was younger, he was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. He enjoyed photography, kayaking, camping, hiking, mountain climbing, and biking. He was also an avid reader.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, John Moran and his wife Elizabeth of IL, Mark Moran and his wife Alicia of FL, James Moran and his wife Brenda of Framingham, Marianne Moran of ID, Judith Benson and her husband Robert of Hudson, John Natoli of Boston, and Joan Johnson of Brockton.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 20th from 4-7pm followed by a service at 7pm in the Ginley Funeral Home, 131 Main Street, Franklin, MA. Interment will take place privately.
