Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Caroline (Sulprizio) Turner. Cheryl grew up in Medford and was a 1975 graduate of Medford High School.

Cheryl previously worked at Xerox Corporation in Lexington in the Administrative Department, at Supportive Care in Malden as a Home Health Aide, and most recently for the Lexington Public Schools as school support personnel.

Cheryl was a sweet and compassionate individual. Her heartfelt happiness was caring and cooking for her family. She looked forward to preparing meals and having everyone at the table. Whenever she visited family and friends, she came laden with goodies including her signature specialties: orange-almond salad and chocolate trifle. Cheryl looked forward to her yearly Mother's Day and birthday trip to Ogunquit, Maine where she and her family shared their traditions of walking Marginal Way, dining, shopping and enjoying their favorite candy shop, Yummies.

Cheryl delighted in walking her dogs, Holly and Rico, around Horn Pond. She supported her children, Nicholas and Danielle, throughout their active school careers and always celebrated their endless successes with a Mother's smile of pride and love.
