Sandra "Gail" Graham Parkerson, 68, of Ocilla passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Mrs. Parkerson will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Buck Parkerson, D. J. Parkerson, Henry Parkerson and Chris Turner will be among those serving as pallbearers.
Born August 30, 1949 in Tifton, Mrs. Parkerson was the daughter of the late James Thomas "J. T." Graham and Lydia Grace Harris Graham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Jefferson Parkerson, Sr.; one son, Ronnie Jeff Parkerson and one sister, Threasa Faye Graham. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Parkerson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Buck and Monica Lynn Parkerson of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Donald Beggs of Ocilla; one sister, Shirley Busbin of Ocilla; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
