Myron R. Costa, 80, of Westport passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at home. He was the husband of Joyce A. (McCaffrey) Costa.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Mariano and Mary (Botelho) Costa, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. He along with his wife were the co-owners of Windy Acres Florist and Greenhouse in Westport, which they started following his retirement in 1987 from the Town of Westport Housing Authority. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. Mr. Costa enjoyed working with his sons, taking care of his property, working in his workshop, wintering in Florida for many years, but most of all he loved living in close proximity to his family.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: Myron R. "Butch" Costa, Jr. of Westport and Brian Costa and his companion Patricia Thibodeau of Westport; 2 grandchildren: Corey Costa of FL and Andrew R. Costa and his companion Mercedes Costa of Westport and their daughter Khloe Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
He was father of the late Gary Costa and brother of the late Everett Costa.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10 AM.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
