Obituary

Johnathan D. Wrona, 31, of Woonsocket passed away suddenly on Monday June 4th, 2018 at Mariam Hospital in Providence. Johnathan was born on December 20, 1986 in Woonsocket and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Johnathan worked for Greenfield Landscaping in a job he really loved. Johnathan was an avid fisherman and you could often find him helping some animal or another. Johnathan always had a smile and a joke for anyone that was around, he loved making people laugh as much as he loved having a good time. Johnathan was the glue that held many of the neighborhood “kids” together over the years with his disk golf, horseshoe games, fires, and pool days. He was a staunch New England Patriots fan.
Johnathan will be remembered as an outgoing and friendly person whose love for his family and friends was unconditional and knew no bounds. He will be missed more than he was ever able to realize.
Johnathan is survived by his parents David and Michelle (LeBlanc) Wrona and his brother David Wrona all of Woonsocket. His long-time girlfriend Amanda Bulris and her daughter. He was the grandson of Leo and Phyllis (Wiegand) Wrona of Seekonk and the late Arthur and Annette (LeBeau) LeBlanc. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The service in celebration of Johnathan’s life will be on Monday June 11, 2018 at 11:30 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Visiting hours are Monday from 9:00-11:30 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wildlife Clinic of RI 2865 Tower Hill Rd. Saunderstown, RI. 02874.
