Cortez Brown Milam, 91, of Sycamore passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Pruitt Health Care of Ashburn.
Mrs. Milam was born on June 23, 1926 in Turner County to the late Oliver Jefferson and Mano V. Hale Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Clinton (Mary Emma) Brown of Sycamore; sister, Grace (Hoss) Myers of Sycamore and a host of nieces nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hilton Milam, two infant sons, her mother and father and a sister, Runette Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Perry Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in The New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of services.
