KAHL, Norma Jean Faust, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
She was a proud 2nd grade teacher at St. Polycarp Grade School, a sales clerk at the former Bacon’s, and retired from Dillard’s.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter J. Kahl; her parents; brothers, George Edward “Bud” Faust and Charles W. “Junior” Faust; and sister, Analee “Tootie” Swain.
Norma is survived by her children, Beth Kaufman (Norman) and James M. Kahl (Julie Blaze); granddaughter, Erin Sohns (Dave); great-grandchildren, Jude and Declan Sohns; and sisters, Linda Kaplan (Daniel) and Charlotte Lindsey.
Her visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8 at Cave Hill Cemetery, 701 Baxter Ave.
