Frances T. (Sarno) Baudanza, of Medford, died Tuesday, June 5th. She was 74. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine (Fijalkowski) Sarno.
Frances was a lifelong resident of Medford. In her younger years you could find her cruising the neighborhood streets in her famous purple Dodge Demon. She enjoyed skiing during the winter at Wildcat, Loon and Killington, and spending time on the Cape during the summer.
Frances loved playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods and frequent visits to her sister in-law’s house in Las Vegas. Frances was a devoted wife, a compassionate mother and loving grandmother.
Frances was the beloved wife of Salvatore Baudanza. She was the devoted mother of Dean Baudanza and his wife Melissa of Billerica. The loving grandmother of Siena and Lucca Baudanza.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russ Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, June 8th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4–8 PM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
