Robert "Bob" William Myers, 87, of Anderson died June 3, 2018 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born February 4, 1931 in Merlin Ontario, Canada the son of Harold E. and Grace (Sales) Myers.
He worked production at Barber Manufacturing 39 years before retiring in 1990 then worked part-time at Payless Grocery on Cross Street. He was a Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions Fan. He also was a bowler, a softball pitcher, a fisherman and a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He was a member of Lone Oak Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include his four children, Christi (David) Pitel of Anderson, Timothy (Ginger) Myers of Tennessee, Jill Marie Myers of Arizona and Rhonda Myers of Anderson; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; an "adopted" daughter, Beckie Collins and his buddy, Snyder
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Eloise Myers and a grandson.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Bill Thompson.
Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
